Lupa's virtual dog house
Hi! and welcome to Lupa's virtual dog house. I wrote this site a long time ago, when I first put it up in 1998, so it's all written from Lupa's perspective. She was the first dog I've ever owned on my own and the best dog. I never had to worry about leaving her with my kiddos or anyone else. She came to me fully trained and very well behaved, and kept those good manners for her whole life with me.
I had to make the difficult decision to have her euthanized on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008. She had spent the whole night pacing because of a storm and just couldn't get up anymore in her hind limbs. It was the hardest drive to work I have ever had in my life and I feel very sympathetic towards all those clients of mine who have to make that one last drive to our clinic with their beloved pet. I chose to have Lupa's ashes returned to me, so that I can spread them in a park where she last ran freely in Richardson before we moved out to McKinney. It's where she'd want to spend all her days if she was still my sweet big girl.
I hope you'll stick around long enough to read Lupa's life story and check out her extensive picture gallery.
Please don't forget to leave your paw-print in our guestbook.
